Rental Terms & Conditions

Qualification to Rent

• Minimum age: 21 years
• Must have a valid driver’s license (at least 1 year old)
• Drivers under 25 years: €3 per day surcharge

Payment & Insurance

Full rental payment is required in advance.

Option 1

Standard Insurance included (Excess: MUR 25,000 – MUR 40,000, depending on vehicle category)

OR

Option 2

Super Damage Cover (SCDW) included to waive excess fees

Important Rules

• Only approved drivers can operate the vehicle
• Report any accident within 1 hour to Eco Car & nearest police station – for more details, head to our FAQ
• Seat belts must be worn at all times (front & back seats)
• Illegal parking results in wheel clamping & fines

Security & Responsibility

• Tyre damage is not covered by insurance (client responsibility) – for more details, head to our FAQ)
• No liability is accepted for lost personal items
•  Agreed Statement of Facts (found in the glovebox) must be completed for minor accidents
